President
Having grown up in a 100+ year old family firm doing business in large commercial building projects on the east coast, it’s fair to say that Paul has been in the construction industry all his life. Paul started Conrad Brothers Inc. in 1997 and has developed a very strong team, many who have been with the company from the start. Paul is a past president of the Wood River Building Contractors Association, is instrumental in local building policy and has been a consultant for various construction related businesses. Paul is an active team member on all major projects, closely collaborating and directing the team throughout the entire process. His primary focus revolves around team relations and communication, design detail and budget control.

Senior Project Manager
John has been involved in residential construction since 1981 and used his construction skills to finance a B.S. degree at Western Washington University.After moving to the Wood River Valley in 1989 and working with several local contractors, John established his own general contracting firm in 1994. In 2001 he joined Conrad Brothers filling the role of estimator and project manager. John’s passion for building lies in the collaborative process; working with the homeowner, design team, and skilled craftsmen to achieve the integration of materials and systems into successful custom residential and commercial projects.

Senior Project Manager
Troy moved to the valley in 1998 after pursuing a geology degree at Boise State University. Growing up in a construction family, he was exposed at an early age to the various phases of building. Troy has since compiled a long history and a vast amount of experience in a variety of construction projects.He has led the Conrad team for the "on time and on budget" completion of the Friedman Memorial Airport remodel (Public Works) and the building of a DL Evans bank branch with a 7-month timeline. He was Project Manager for multiple projects for the Blaine County School District at Hemingway Elementary, Hailey Elementary, Alturas Elementary, Silver Creek Alternative School, Wood River Middle School, Carey Campus and the Facilities and Maintenance Building. Other notable projects include the Warfield Distillery and Ale House, First and Fourth and the Sun Valley Auto Club.
Joining Conrad Brothers in 2002, he began work as a carpenter and rapidly worked his way up to onsite supervisor and then project manager. Troy can connect with our clients making for excellent working relationships.
Other strengths include strong attention to detail, budget management, document management, schedule management, conflict resolution skills, safety compliance and enforcement abilities. Troy has a strong ability to work through issues and problem solve with architects and engineers. He is a valuable asset to any project.

Senior Project Manager
With a BS in Construction Management from Arizona State, Jess transformed an existing family owned construction firm in Chandler, Arizona from 12 employees to 125 with monthly revenues over $1 million.He manages projects full scope from excavation through occupancy, maintaining jobsite safety, quality control, and daily scheduling to keep projects on time and on budget.

Construction Administrator
Dan Ward graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management. He joined the team in 2016 as a Project Engineer and is currently a Construction Administrator at Conrad Brothers. On a day-to-day basis, he focuses on contract completion during the preconstruction and construction phases of the project. He is also our IT specialist and Construction Technologist. As the IT specialist, he manages all hardware and software-related equipment for the company and is closely acquainted with our construction processes.

Project Manager
Ben's ability to lead and direct intricate projects was apparent from the day he joined Conrad Brothers early in 2020. With an extensive background in residential and commercial construction management, Ben has built yachts, restored historic homes, and built out several highly regarded restaurants in New York and New Jersey. His love of construction and architecture is matched with his love of the Sawtooth Mountains and his permanent relocation to the area has fulfilled a 15-year dream. -
Poppy started out in the construction industry as Ben’s assistant and jobsite morale booster. She has progressed to post-lunch cleanup crew and safety expert with her hi-viz jacket. A regular on Ben’s jobsites, Poppy has assisted in the renovation of a historic 1700s home in New Jersey, and built restaurants and a museum in downtown NYC. Since moving to the Wood River Valley, she has helped keep the jobs safe from invading ground squirrels and developed a healthy appreciation for a tamale or two.

Project Manager
Jack Hsu is a degreed Mechanical Engineer from the University of Michigan. His roles in construction have ranged from a mechanical engineer in high-rise commercial construction in an architecture & engineering firm to the managing partner of an architectural metals company serving the high-end residential construction and restaurant/hospitality industries in New York City. Jack prides himself on establishing trusted, functional relationships with both clients and subcontractors and focuses on an irreproachable execution of a project’s budget, schedule, quality/scope, and overall management.“Two challenges in any project that I make sure to address are Team Performance and Communication. I work towards building a team which operates at a level that is more than the sum of its parts to achieve great relationships and work products. I believe this is impossible without facilitating thorough, effective communication between all parties.” Jack joined Conrad Brothers in 2020 and has become an invaluable asset to the team.

Project Manager
Alex Alfone grew up in Colorado, served 5 years in the Marine Corps, and graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management. He has work experience completing both residential and commercial projects and has worked as a Field Project Manager on Federal and State contracts. Most of his project management experience comes from the Healthcare Construction Industry. His focus is on efficient project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, capably handling the many challenges faced throughout a project such as managing the coordination of multiple trades, employees, materials, and jobsite layout to ensure all tasks are performed in an efficient and economical manner.Alex joined Conrad Brothers of Idaho in June, 2022 and has seamlessly integrated with the team, providing
valuable contributions. In his free time, he enjoys the many outdoor activities that are accessible in
Sun Valley, Idaho, including skiing, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing.

Project Engineer
Brooke comes to Conrad Brothers from a 23-year long career as a Realtor in Boise. With a background in development, new construction and multi family projects, Brooke works as a Project Engineer to coordinate pre-construction activities, manage subcontracts, purchase orders and tracking through the completion of a project. Brooke works with clients to develop a scope of work, obtain subcontractor proposals, create, and track budgets and handle change orders. Brooke has a degree in Political Science from Boise.

Project Manager
Javier, a dedicated individual serving as a project supervisor and has been a certified crane operator at Conrad Brothers for over 11 years. His hands-on experience and expertise speak volumes on his capabilities. Javier’s career highlights include significant contributions to various projects such as the Durant resident, airport remodel from 2015 to 2017, and involvement in the apartment projects across Hailey including the Silver and River, Airport Inn, and Saddle Lofts. Beyond the job site, Javier finds his time spent with his children with sports activities, tending to his property and horse riding.

Project Manager
Michael Guidoli grew up in Southern California and spent six years as an Aviation Ordnance man and Rescue Swimmer in the US Navy. His professional experience includes completing both residential and commercial projects as a Field Engineer in Colorado. Michael’s skills include the preparation and execution of large-scale and long-term specialty projects for diverse stakeholders. In addition to managerial oversight, his focus is quality control and adherence to project specifications and industry safety standards which makes him an asset to Conrad Brothers of Idaho, which he joined as a project Manager in May of 2023.
Outside of work, Michael is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and skiing in beautiful Sun Valley.

If you’re looking for a bad boy, swipe left, cause he’s a good boy. When he is not having the zoomies or deciding to lick fellow humans, Jackson enjoys playing ball, find squirrels and take extra naps. Originating from an Amish farm in the hills of West Virginia, he brings a touch of rural charm to his adventures. His favorite treats include vanilla ice cream pup cups and cinnamon toast rice cakes.

Site Supervisor
John joined Conrad Brothers back in 2012, since holding the title of Project Supervisor. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western State Colorado, John brings a solid academic background to his role. One notable achievement he features was harvesting all the timber for a log house he constructed, showcasing his hands-on expertise and commitment to work. Beyond the construction site, John interests include skiing, fishing, and golfing as well as loves dogs.

Project Manager
Tim, a Minnesota-native, joined Conrad Brothers in 2019 after he met Paul and Jenny while working evenings at The Mint. He stared out pushing a broom and now is a Project Engineer & Superintendent. Growing up, he attended a K-12 Spanish-Immersion program and he uses his bilingualism to foster efficient team communication on large commercial projects. On a weekly basis, he takes pride walking with his dog over the BCRD pedestrian bridge near River Run that he helped renovate for Conrad in 2019.

Ella loves the water almost as much as the snow, and is an amazing trail dog, whether it's fat-tire cruising during the winter, or hiking to summits during the summer.

Lead Finish Carpenter
Luis joined Conrad Brothers in 2021. He is affectionately known as Pinky, within our company. Luis brings a unique blend of strengths and qualities to the team. Excelling thorough training techniques to others requires patience and fostering a friendly atmosphere among colleagues. He has learned his craft through hands-on experience and dedication to his work, letting him obtain his title as Lead Finish Carpenter. His experience over the years has included from his involvement in carpentry projects and has learned additional skills from tiles to cabinets and all the comes with construction work. Beyond work, Luis enjoys golfing, fishing, as well as tacking home projects with his family. If a biography were to be written about Luis, ‘I Made, Lo Logré’, would capture his journey and determination.

Bookkeeper
Stephanie has been with Conrad Brothers since 2020. She has extensive bookkeeping experience with several local construction-related businesses and continues to successfully operate her own business within the construction industry since 2006. Her role at Conrad Brothers encompasses a wide variety of tasks, but her top priority is managing the Accounts Payables, working closely with all vendors and subcontractors.

Katrina joined Conrad Brothers in 2021, bringing with her over twenty years of bookkeeping and human resources experience from several local businesses / clients, including 15 years with the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation managing their AP/AR and Payroll, followed by 6 years with the Blaine County Recreation District with a similar focus. Her role at Conrad Brothers encompasses far more than that, and she manages it all with professional and positive precision.

Chelle has been with Conrad Brothers since 2014, handling bookkeeping and office management for Conrad Brothers, as well as several other businesses. Her bookkeeping and office management experience is extensive. She owned and operated her own restaurant, The Bald Mountain Cantina, for 9 years, and also PK's Ski Shop, which she and her husband began in 1981 in Ketchum. Chelle is an invaluable asset to the Conrad team.

Senior Lead Finish Carpenter
Adan joined Conrad Brothers in 2012, serving as an integral part of our team as our Lead Finish Carpenter. His strength lies in his unwavering commitment to help others, evident in his willingness to always assist his colleagues. One of many notable achievements includes being responsible for the finishes on the recent 1st & 4th job, demonstrating his hands-on experience. Outside of work, Adan finds joy in activities like soccer, hiking and other various sports involving the outdoors.

The Muscle
Salvador, is the muscle man who role involves organized and moving larger items, and carpentry skills whenever needed. Salvador’s contribution to the team lies in ensuring no time is wasted on the job. He joined Conrad Brothers 12 years ago, in 2012.
Outside of work, Salvador can be found walking trails in the valley, loves his 4 dogs and takes care of his flock of chickens.

George’s career has evolved him into management positions and joined Conrad Brothers in 2023 as a site superintendent. Among his achievements, George highlights his involvement in numerous custom home projects where his start in rough carpentry skills have been refined and mastering fine finish work in multi-million dollar markets. Beyond the construction site, George is an avid outdoorsman, who love activities like fly fishing, bowhunting and decoying waterfowl, accompanied by his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Colleagues may find it surprising to learn of George’s diverse background as he was a volunteer firefighter, taught Hunters Education for a decade and was a city councilman for 8 years.

Manuel, our Lead Finish Carpenter, whose dedication, and expertise has been integral to Conrad Brothers success for over 22 years. Beyond his craftsmanship, Manuel is renowned for his commitment to nurturing the skills and efficiency of new team members, serving as a guide and mentor. He has the ability to execute any task with precision and expertise, even in the absence of supervision, showcasing reliability. When not at a construction site, Manuel finds himself on adventures through hiking and road biking.

Carina, with a degree in Management from Boise State University, brings a solid academic foundation to a professional setting.
Carina joined Conrad Brothers in August of 2023 with her role in bookkeeping and assisting with Accounts Payables.
Fluent in Spanish, she is a bridge for language barriers, ensuring effective communication with fellow employees. Her love for travel has cultivated adaptability and a global perspective. With a background in customer support and client assistance, she is adept at fostering positive relationships.

John McGough is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in both commercial and residential construction. John joined Conrad Brothers in May of 2024, holding the role of Superintendent. Having attended the University of Idaho, he studied to become an Engineer. Beyond the construction site, John leads an active lifestyle with his hobbies including fly fishing and hiking, immersing himself in the great outdoors. Colleagues may be surprised to learn John hails from a family of academia, with parents who taught at the University of Idaho in Moscow. If John were to have a biography book written about him, his self-appointed title would be ‘Work Hard, Play Hard, Love the Difficult thing.’

Michelle is a seasoned designer at Conrad Brothers who brings unparalleled expertise and creativity to the table. With 24 years of experience in kitchen and bath design, Michelle does product specification and procurement for Conrad, prioritizing client satisfaction and budget management. Holding a BA from the University of Washington and an MA from The Savannah School of Art and Design. A notable achievement includes her invaluable contributions to the Durant project, where her problem-solving skills and knack for sourcing hard-to-find items proved instrumental. Beyond the office, Michelle loves to draw, sew, make pottery, hike with her two dogs and tackling her house remodel! Colleagues may be surprised to learn Michelle’s diverse life experiences, from living in France and Japan to kayaking with Orca whales and having a Canadian citizenship through her father. If someone wrote a biography about Michelle, the title would be ‘Beige is the color of fear’.
